1970: An idea for a small design studio was born. Returning from a stint with the US Army's 101st Airborne Division, serving in Republic of Vietnam, Richard Wambach set out pursuing a career in graphic design, his true passion.
1972: A corporation was formed: Wambach Communications Group, Inc. In the 70s-90s the design agency grew to 22 creative staff members with studio and office locations in Red Hook, Rhinebeck, Poughkeepsie and ultimately mid-town NYC. In 1995 much of his client base and all of his staff were transferred to a friendly company to allow Wambach to pursue a different path toward more localized, personalized hands-on creative services back home in Red Hook.
2024: 52 years later, WCG, Inc., a small one-man agency continues to serve "just a few hand-picked local clients" providing quality custom marketing and creative services.
